Day 1 was a beautiful day in Austin. A little warm, but partly cloudy skies broke up the sunshine a bit.
Band highlights were Fun., Local Natives, Vampire Weekend and Jimmy Eat World. Muse was another great act and honorable mention to Latasha Lee and the Black Ties. Depeche Mode had a few good hits, but definitely felt like circa 1982.
Today a "cold front" is supposed to hit around 3pm with a 30% chance of storms. Will get down to the 50's tonight. We are prepping by bringing our boots (we will check them at bag check just in case we need them), bringing a tarp, ponchos, and plenty of garbage bags. I hope we have properly prepared.
Having coffee now and will be departing for Rudy's for breakfast in about 20 minutes.
